About
Beautiful trips that actually work in real life.
Hi, I’m Cyrielle — ten years in aviation, and a slight obsession with trips that go right.

I’ve seen travel from every side of the counter.
I’m Cyrielle. This year marks ten years since I started flying — first as cabin crew with a Gulf airline, and now in VVIP private aviation. But I got there the long way round: Air France ground staff, hotel reception, and a travel agency, all starting at sixteen on an apprenticeship.
I’ve travelled across four continents — from Tokyo and Seoul to Botswana, Morocco and Argentina — lived in Korea to learn the language, and loved Japan enough to study Japanese. Seeing travel from the ground, the desk, and the sky is exactly what taught me the practical, unglamorous decisions that quietly make or break a trip.
(I even met my person on one of my very first flights — now my best friend and partner. Proof that a trip really can change your life.)
What I believe
Pretty is lovely. Practical is what saves the trip.
Where you stay
A hotel’s location decides how your whole trip feels. “Central” rarely means convenient — and the wrong base costs you in taxis and lost mornings.
What it really costs
The cheapest option is rarely the cheapest trip. Real totals — hidden costs and all — are what keep a trip from quietly overrunning.
Realistic pacing
Three or four bases beat eight. A trip should be judged by how well it works in real life, not by how pretty the itinerary looks.
Proof, from the road
What travel actually taught me
Not a list of countries — the lessons behind the planning.
Safari taught me the best moments are the ones you can’t schedule — so always leave room for them.
Cappadocia taught me that timing and weather can make or break a bucket-list morning.
Quiet corners taught me a great view is worth the detour — if you build the day around it.
Tokyo taught me that “central” and “convenient” are rarely the same thing.
Split taught me the best moments are often free — and worth planning the day around, like the guard change at the old palace.
Pokhara taught me to build slow days into every trip — the unhurried mornings are the ones you remember.
